University of Central Florida & Orlando Health Neurologic Residency
    The University of Central Florida and Orlando Health Neurologic Residency Program is a great opportunity for physical therapists to advance their knowledge and develop their clinical skills in the area of neurologic rehabilitation. The residency is designed to prepare residents in the advance practice of neurologic physical therapy as clinical specialists committed to optimizing patient care and improving the quality of life of individuals in the community. This is a 12 month residency program with an R1 doctoral university. Residents earn salary with benefits. Learn from expert faculty mentors and instructors of the Residency & DPT programs.
    Clinical Rotation includes: Orlando Regional Medical Center (3 months clinical rotation, Inpatient Rehabilitation: Orlando Health Rehabilitation Institute Inpatient Rehabilitation (5 months clinical rotation), Outpatient Rehabilitation divided between Orlando Health Rehabilitation Institute Outpatient Rehabilitation (2 months clinical rotation), Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Care Center (2 months clinical rotation) with outpatient pediatric neurology exposure once a week in outpatient. UCF is America's second largest university and ORMC is Orlando's only level one trauma center.
