UT Southwestern Medical Center Neurologic Residency
    The residency program runs over a 12-month employment period. The residents treat patients in the School of Health Professions faculty practice, the Gait Disorders Clinic, as well as in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at the University Neuroscience Hospital, and works under the supervision of clinical mentors. The Resident maintains a patient load of 21-24 hours/week with an additional four hours reserved for collaborative care with their mentor. The remaining time is devoted to additional learning opportunities at the discretion of the mentor and includes journal club participation, academic teaching in the DPT program, in-service presentations, research development, and attendance at two 3.5 day learning modules. The medical center environment provides unique opportunities for a vast array of learning experiences for the resident.
