Azusa Pacific University Movement System Fellowship
    The multi-site mentoring fellowship program provides an opportunity for physical therapists to advance their clinical skills in the movement system. The 12-month fellowship provides intensive training to produce clinicians who demonstrate superior post-professional clinical skills, advanced knowledge and practice of the movement system, and the ability to function as consultants, advocates, and educators of their peers and patients/clients.

    This program requires the Fellow to complete a minimum of 1000 total program hours inclusive of:
    i. 200 hours of on-site classroom/lab instruction
    ii. 850 patient-care clinical hours at the clinical site inclusive of 150 hours of 1:1 mentoring throughout the program. Mentoring will be provided by established leaders in the field and/or graduates of Movement System Fellowship.

Important Dates Qualified applicants will be scheduled for an in-person interview with the Fellowship Director, Clinical Faculty and Clinical Site Managers. If applicants have not completed a ABPTRFE accredited residency, they will be required to perform a clinical assessment on a "live" patient with a selection committee member. This interview is scheduled for Nov 7, 2018.
Program Prerequisites
Courses Familiarity with concepts related to Movement System Impairment and the Functional Approach to Musculoskeletal Pain Syndromes.
Certifications Not Applicable
Experience Completion of a ABPTRFE -accredited residency in a related specialty area as defined by DFP OR ABPTS specialist certification in related area of specialty as defined within DFP (OCS or SCS).
