Kaiser Permanente Neurologic Residency
    The Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency supports Kaiser Permanente’s mission to provide affordable high-quality health care services to improve the health of our members and the communities we serve. With their advance clinical knowledge and skills, graduates will be able to address patients with complex neuromuscular problems and serve as providers of neurological care at medical centers throughout the Northern California region. As clinical specialists, they will provide an advance level of patient care through education, training, leadership, and community service.

    Our goals are:

    1.To develop physical therapists that exhibit the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior
    2.To prepare physical therapist to serve as primary health care providers who perform the highest standard of patient/client management
    3.To develop physical therapist that are able to serve the profession and community as leaders, educators, consultants, and mentors
    4.To prepare physical therapists that are able to contribute to the evidence-based practice of physical therapy
    5.To prepare the physical therapists to sit for the board certification examination in neurologic physical therapy
    6.To provide standardization and consistency in clinical care, mentoring, and expectations.
