ATI Physical Therapy Upper Extremity Athlete Fellowship
    The ATI - Greenville Upper Extremity Athlete Fellowship is a unique opportunity to train with some of the top upper extremity sports physical therapists/researchers/physicians in the nation as well as provide care to minor league and major league players in the Kansas City Royals Baseball Organization. The fellowship runs from early October through the end of October of the following year (13months). Starting in Greenville, South Carolina the fellow will spend 4 months mentoring with our upper extremity specialist providing care to the upper extremity athlete ranging from the youth to the professional athlete. In addition the fellow will assist in the education and mentoring of residents within the Proaxis Therapy Sports Residency Program and will be an active participant in the Proaxis Therapy Throwing Academy located at the Patewood facility.

    The Upper Extremity Athlete fellow will also provide rehabilitation and sports medicine care for minor league and major league players in the Kansas City Royals Baseball Organization. Beginning with spring training in early February the fellow will receive mentorship working in conjunction with the Minor League Physical Therapist, Athletic Training Coordinator, Rookie Ball Athletic Trainers and the team physicians to assist with rehabilitation and prevention of baseball injuries. In early September the fellow will return to Greenville to complete their fellowship.
