Houston Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Sports Residency
    Houston Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Sports PT Residency is a 12 month program designed to provide clinical and educational training that will accelerate professional development as an APTA Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy, an independent practitioner of advanced sports therapy and a contributor to scientific research and literature. Houston Methodist is the official health care provider for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Houston Dynamo, Houston Ballet, Houston Symphony and Rice University. Residents will have the opportunity to gain observation, mentoring and on-the-field hours with these organizations. In addition, Houston Methodist has an extensive Athletic Training and outreach program that covers a variety of events including The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Houston National Gymnastics Meet, 7’s for 7’s Lacrosse Tournament and various other high school and college events. Residents have the opportunity to work closely with Houston Methodist Orthopedic surgeons and attend weekly Sports Medicine Conferences with the physicians and Orthopedic Fellows/Residents.
