The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Pediatric Residency
Our pediatric physical therapy residency program is housed at the main campus of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia campus includes physical therapy service provision in inpatient acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, day hospital rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. Physical therapy services are also provided on an outpatient basis in four Pennsylvania and three New Jersey satellite locations. The residency program consists of both didactic and clinical programming developed within and by the physical therapy staff. The program also utilizes the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental & Related Disabilities (LEND) program, a grant funded program administered by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, for both financial and educational support. The LEND program at CHOP has a long-standing history with both clinical and didactic components for clinicians in various disciplines
