Drayer Physical Therapy Institute Spine Fellowship
    Our mission is to provide physical therapists, those have already excelled, with advanced knowledge and skills in orthopaedic physical therapy, as it relates to the treatment of disorders related to the spine, integrating evidence based practice, clinical teaching and mentoring. The program will produce clinicians that embody leadership qualities, serve as a resource for peers and the community. Three hours of 1:1 mentoring with an OCS therapist. Fellows provide five hours of 1:1 mentoring with an orthopaedic resident and teaching of manual skills and lecture. Two modules of coursework, paid for by DPTI 6 days each, are completed at the University of Southern California, additional coursework occurs at DPT education facility. Fellows are responsible for submission of a case study, literature review, IRB clinical trial or presentation for national conference. Fellows also participate in physical office visits and observation with an orthopaedic surgeon and/ or physiatrist.
