Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Health Neurologic Residency
    The mission of the Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Health Neurologic Residency Program is to develop expert clinicians in neurologic physical therapy who provide optimal care to individuals with neurological conditions, and who serve as educators, researchers, and advocates for patients and the profession of physical therapy.

    The strongest applicants to our program are self-directed learners, have strong self-assessment skills, and are open to critical feedback. We are looking for applicants who demonstrate:
    •A strong academic background
    •Excellent communication skills
    •An interest in neurology
    •Research experience and interest

    We accept new graduates, experienced clinicians, and international physical therapists. NY State licensure or demonstrated eligibility for a NY State license is required of all applicants.

    Two letters of recommendation from health care providers, one being a supervisor or former supervisor. Recommendations from clinical instructors and / or DCE’s are acceptable for new graduate physical therapists.
